1. General

This Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs the conditions for cancellation of the engagement between the client and Linux Hosting ("Company") when purchasing hosting services, VPS servers, domain registration and IT services. The Policy is written in accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981 and its regulations.

In case of any conflict between the Policy and the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law - the Law prevails.

2. Cancellation Periods

The client may cancel the engagement subject to and in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and its regulations, as follows:

Monthly service: Cancellation within 14 days from the transaction date - full prorated refund for unused days, less cancellation fee as set by law.
Annual service: Cancellation within 30 days from the transaction date - full prorated refund for remaining months, less cancellation fee as set by law.
Persons with disabilities, senior citizens, or new immigrants: May cancel within 4 months from the transaction date, provided the engagement included a conversation with a Company representative (including chat or email). The Company may request appropriate documentation.

3. Cancellation Fees

For cancellation not due to defect or non-conformity, the Company may charge a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the service price, or 100 ILS, whichever is lower, as specified in the Consumer Protection Law.

No cancellation fee will be charged in the following cases:

Cancellation due to service defect or material breach of the service agreement.
Cancellation in accordance with the cooling-off period ("first transaction") - the first 14 days of a new order.
Cancellation initiated by the Company (see Section 6).

4. How to Submit a Cancellation Request

The cancellation request must include: full name, ID number, order number, and details of the service to cancel.

5. Refunds

Refunds are processed via the original payment method only (credit card, PayPal, or bank account), within 14 business days of cancellation approval. For monthly charges that occurred after the cancellation request - a separate credit will be issued.

Refunds for partially-used services are calculated pro-rata (proportional refund for the unused period), less only the cancellation fee.

6. Cancellation by the Company

The Company may cancel a transaction in the following cases:

Error in price or service description on the site.
Suspicion that the transaction was made fraudulently or with an invalid payment method.
Breach of Terms of Use by the client.
Service unavailability due to causes outside the Company's control.

In any cancellation by the Company under this section, no cancellation fee will be charged and a full refund will be issued to the client.

7. Cancellation of Domain Services

Domain registration is a service that cannot be cancelled after the registration is actually performed with the relevant domain authority (ICANN, ISOC-IL, etc.). This is because a domain is a personal service created specifically for the client, in accordance with Section 14C(D)(2) of the Consumer Protection Law.

In exceptional cases of a registration error identified within 24 hours of registration - a full refund will be issued.

8. Cancellation of Maintenance Service Contract (IT/Sysadmin Services)

For monthly maintenance contracts - the engagement can be cancelled with 30 days' advance notice. Services already performed up to the cancellation date - are not refundable. Unused days in the remaining month - will be credited pro-rata.

9. Appeal Process

In case of dispute or disagreement regarding cancellation terms, contact the Company's customer service representative at [email protected]. The Company commits to responding within 14 business days.

The client may contact the Israeli Consumer Protection Authority at any time.
